GENERAL INFORMATION
Sâmbăta de Sus (in Hungarian Felsőszombatfalva) is a picturesque village in Transylvania, Brașov County, located at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains. The altitude of the village is 450-500 m, situated about 80 km west of Brașov, 65 km east of Sibiu, and 20 km south of Făgăraș.
