The village sits at an altitude of approximately 1300 meters, in the Harghita Mountains, offering a cool climate year-round. It is famous for its fresh mountain air and stunning landscapes.
Bucsin is approximately 20 km north-east of Miercurea Ciuc, and 40 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc. Additionally, Sfântu Gheorghe is about 70 km away, and Miercurea Ciuc is approximately 50 km south-west.
