Gura Râului is a picturesque Romanian village located in Sibiu County, in the heart of the Mărginimea Sibiului region, on the Cibin River Valley, at the foot of the Cindrel Mountains (Cibin Mountains), at an average altitude of 554–600 m. The village is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain and cycling tours, as well as exploring the nearby Saxon fortified churches.
