The Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas)
A symbol of Sighișoara, this 64 m–high medieval tower guards the citadel’s main gate. Originally built in the 13th century and expanded in later centuries, its Baroque roof and carved clock figures are iconic. Inside, the History Museum offers panoramic views over the citadel.
Fortified Town Walls and Historic Towers
Sighișoara’s citadel once had a complex defensive wall system with many towers. Among the most notable are:
• Tailors’ Tower – massive medieval defense structure opposite the Clock Tower.
• Tinsmiths’ Tower – distinctive architecture and part of the fortification system.

Vlad Dracul House
